With the introduction of its new HSEQ dashboard, GETEC has taken a decisive step towards data-driven safety and performance management, with a tool that provides transparent insights into key HSEQ indicators and enables targeted action throughout the company.

Across seven European countries and in 48 office locations, GETEC provides a safe and healthy environment for all of our employees. This includes our colleagues who work in maintenance, service and the installation of energy solutions at plants and construction sites. We apply rigorous standards for health protection, occupational and process safety, and environmental stewardship.

To take this further, as part of the ONE GETEC approach, our new digital HSEQ dashboard was implemented in April 2025. The dashboard has established a uniform, company-wide data basis that enables transparent performance comparisons, early risk identification and fact-based management decisions across all operations. The system allows the HSEQ team to actively identify weaknesses, challenge existing practices and continuously steer safety performance across countries and business units.

“The dashboard has fundamentally changed how we manage HSEQ at GETEC, enabling us to move from reactive reporting to proactive steering, focusing on leading indicators and preventive action,” says Christian Schagun, Head of HSEQ at GETEC. “Through the systematic introduction of safety walks and observations, and the increased discussion of leading indicators, we have made significant improvements for HSEQ, especially in the area of safety.”

The dashboard has already enabled decisions to be made as a result of the data collected. Based on dashboard insights, the HSEQ team prioritised countries with elevated risk exposure, standardised safety walk methodologies and redeployed resources to address the most critical gaps. Additionally, any deviations are communicated to the right management body, to ensure swift resolution and actionable change.

KPIs in 2025 and beyond

HSEQ is a fundamental part of our daily operations. In 2025, the dashboard focused on providing transparency for a range of indicators, including the total recordable incident rate (TRIR), the lost time injury rate (LTIR), the number of safety walks, employee training rates, environmental events and safety observations by categories. It also monitored the Safety Pyramid: TRIR, LTIR, first aid, near misses, unsafe and safe conditions, and emergency drills.

Looking ahead, the HSEQ team will further strengthen structured incident management, ensuring that incidents are analysed systematically, linked to corrective measures, assigned clear ownership and tracked until closure. An additional tool will integrate a dashboard that is generated live from the system, offering a more modern layout, higher data quality and real-time data.

A 360° approach to HSEQ

The GETEC HSEQ Policy aims to ensure the principles of occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and quality are integrated into the company’s business decisions and plans. It provides a reference framework for establishing sustainable and effective HSEQ management systems. The policy applies to GETEC, its subsidiaries where effective control is exercised, their directors and employees, as well as contracted third parties.
