GETEC and GWG Group conclude cooperation agreement

The aim of the cooperation is to optimise energy procurement and to organise the operation of all energy generation plants in the nationwide GWG portfolio in a sustainable and economical manner, while at the same time creating more transparency in gwg's own processes and vis-à-vis tenants. Through optimisation and targeted efficiency improvement measures, costs and CO2 emissions in the GWG portfolio are to be substantially reduced. With the help of the installation of heat quantity counters and data boxes as well as the development of a customer portal, additional consumptions are to be recorded better and communicated more quickly.

"The cooperation with GETEC will enable us to implement the same standards in maintenance, operation, modernisation and energy purchasing across all inventories throughout Germany. In the future, as a company with a traditionally very lively new construction activity, we will be able to develop complete neighbourhood solutions together with GETEC in order to implement tailor-made energy concepts as required," explains Andreas Engelhardt, CEO of the GWG Group.
