PIONEER Park Hanau

The Pioneer Park in Hanau is one very practical example of the DISTRICT OF THE FUTURE. We are developing the huge Pioneer Park into a modern district as part of a joint venture with Stadtwerke Hanau. The partners have developed a comprehensive energy and mobility concept for the former US military base. Around 1,600 apartments for up to 5,000 people will be built on the 50-hectare site - about the size of 70 soccer fields.

The new DISTRICT OF THE FUTURE will be supplied with climate-friendly and efficient energy and will also provide smart home solutions, broadband Internet and e-mobility. The energy concept calls for the use of three combined heat and power plants for the efficient generation of heat and electricity, as well as condensing boilers and heat pump technology. Additional electricity will be generated using photovoltaics.
