GETEC Italia acquires the 100% of Termenergie (Collino & C.) and expands itself in the Private Real Estate sector
Piacenza, 18th of January 2024 – Through the acquisition of the 100% of Termenergie srl, a newly established company in which the ESCo activities of Collino & C. have been conferred, GETEC confirms its development plan in Italy, in all the fields where it is already present and in particular in the Private Real Estate one, becoming a leading international player specialized in energy services for Italian clients.
“The acquisition of the 100% of Termenergie srl allows us to consolidate GETEC Italia’s leadership in the Italian market for the supply of energy efficiency solutions and energy services, aimed at all market segments where the company operates: Public, Private Healthcare, Industry and Private Real Estate”, stated Giovanni Pontrelli, CEO of GETEC Italia.

Collino & C. S.p.A is a privately held company, part of a group which has been operating in the energy sector for 100 years, with its headquarter in Acqui Terme (AL). As Energy Service Company (ESCo), it has carried out activities specialized in energy efficiency for decades, providing private clients, condos, PMI and PA a complete management service of thermal systems, respecting quality and sustainability, even through EPC contracts, with a close bond with the territories in which it has operated until now. The Collino & C. Board of Directors has undertaken this industrial direction following the evolution of the energy market and the significant investments planned for the energy transition, guaranteeing continuity to resources and corporate assets.
As part of this operation, GETEC Italia has been internally supported by the M&A team, led by Marco Pilati, and externally by Simmons & Simmons for legal assistance, with a team coordinated by partner Mauro Pisapia and Marco Muratore and made of the associate Dalia Abbate and the trainee Carla Nuzzolo for the M&A issues and of the associate Luigi Gabriele Bulfamante and the trainee Valeria Benedetti for Public Law issues; of Ginini Antipode in the financial and fiscal Due Diligence activity with a team lead by Andrea Bariggi for the due diligence and the closing, with the support of Piero Marchelli for legal and public law issues and the Chartered Accountants Luca Viarengo and Filippo Bisso for financial and fiscal aspects.
